Volunteers

One of the greatest strengths of our society is volunteers who freely choose to devote their talents and resources to enhancing the quality of community life. At Family Services, volunteers are a very important part of the work we do in the community. Volunteers enable us to offer a variety of services and are fundamental to the operation of our programs.

We have even had students from Michigan travel all the way down to
Beaumont for their spring break just to volunteer with Family Services.
Volunteers
provide direct and indirect service to our clients in a six county area,
including Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Newton and Tyler. The
volunteers work in our shelters, our offices, our resale shops and area
schools through our Date Violence Prevention Program and the FAST
Program.
